You can import files with the following file name extensions into Windows Movie Maker to use in your project:

• Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma
• Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf
• Video files: .asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv

Step 1: Prepare
Get all the Audio, Picture and Video Files together in one folder

Step 2: Import
Import all the files into Windows Movie Maker

Step 3: Create
Begin by making a title
Then place either picture or video files in sequence
Add audio
Add transitions

Change timings and clip video edges to create more of a professional feel

Step 5: Preview
View your movie

Step 6: Publish
Save your movie in a video format

Step 7: Share
Share your new movie with your class or others.
